There is no data to collect.
This is the whole policy. It is short because the architecture is short.
What we collect
Nothing.
First Almanac has no server, no account system, no analytics, no advertising SDK, no crash reporter and no network calls of any kind. Your child's name, date of birth, photographs, immunisation entries, measurements, feeds, nappies, sleep, medicine doses, temperatures and letters are written to your device and stay there.
Fisk LLC cannot see any of it. Not because we promise not to look, but because there is no mechanism by which it could reach us.
Where your record lives
On your device, and in files you save.

| Your backups | If you use iCloud or Google device backup, your phone may include the app's data in that backup. That is between you and Apple or Google, under their policies, not ours. |
| Files you export | The record file, the keepsake book and the pediatrician summary are written wherever you choose to save or share them. Once you send one somewhere, it is governed by wherever you sent it. |
Children
The app is for the parent, about the child.
First Almanac is intended for adults keeping a record of their own child. It does not have accounts, does not have a social layer, does not contain advertising, and transmits nothing — so there is no collection of a child's personal information to disclose, and nothing for us to share, sell or retain.
Third parties
There are none.
No trackers, no attribution SDKs, no fonts or scripts loaded from anyone else's servers. The only third parties involved are Apple and Google, who distribute the app and can tell us how many downloads it had — aggregate numbers about the app, not information about you.
